My horse lacks power
Is your horse lacking energy during training, or does it seem to struggle to sustain its performance? More concentrate feed isn't always the answer. In fact, an excess of starch can make your horse more sluggish. A horse gets lasting energy from a balanced ration with enough fibre, highly digestible nutrients and the right building blocks for muscle.
With the right nutrition you support condition, muscle development and stamina. Having little spark or tiring quickly doesn't have to be down to fitness. It's often about how the ration delivers energy: too much in spikes, too little over the long haul.
- Struggles to deliver real power during training
- Little forward energy or impulsion
- Recovers slowly after exertion and fitness lags behind
Energy that lasts, instead of spikes.
The form in which energy is provided determines how a horse responds to it. That's where the structure of the ration has the most to gain.
