A healthier ration starts with the basics
At Florian we believe that good feeding actually starts very logically: with the nature of the horse. Roughage, fibre and water form the basis. That is our origin and precisely from that idea our roughage mixes were created: nutritious, fibre-rich and suited to how a horse naturally eats.
But today’s horse sometimes asks for more. We ride dressage, showjumping, eventing, endurance, western, TREC and Working Equitation (WE). We work on liberty, groundwork and coaching, go out for rides, breed or train very specifically for sport.
What we do together with our horses differs enormously. And so what we ask of their bodies differs too. Every horse is different. One stays wonderful on a good fibre-rich basis, while another needs more energy, proteins, vitamins and minerals or targeted support, for example.
From the basis we build further
Our roughage mixes remain the starting point. From that natural basis we have continued to develop, so you can adapt the ration to what your horse actually needs.
This way you can our roughage mixes mix and match with the Original pellets for horses that, in addition to their fibre-rich basis, need supplementary nutrients.
Want to fine-tune even more specifically? Then there are our Xtra products and Support mixes. This allows you to fine-tune the ration more precisely, for example when you want to work on condition and topline or when you choose ingredients that support normal digestion.
This way no standard ration is created, but a nutrition plan that you can build and adapt to your horse, its work and its needs.
Not every horse needs everything and that is exactly what we find important at Florian.
Do not fill but feed!
Because a good ration is not created by putting as many products together as possible. It starts with looking at the whole picture: your horse, the roughage, the work, the goal and what is actually needed.
